Combine the sailing in Europe’s largest nature reserve with a sporty activity on one of the Frisian Islands. What about flying kites, parachuting or a bicycle tour with a GPS receiver as a guide? This all in the beautiful Wadden area.
Friday night you’ll board your sailing ship and the company will get acquainted with the crew. At night you can enjoy a pleasant night on board or in one of the pubs ashore.
Saturday morning after breakfast we’ll cast off and the ship will sail out to Europe’s largest nature reserve, the Wad (sand flat). After lunch you’ll moor in the harbour of Terschelling. Here your company will be picked up, divided into teams and the bicycles will be handed out. With a GPS receiver (Global Positioning System) as a guide you’ll be guided across the island through instructions.
Tired but satisfied everyone will go back aboard, where on the lower deck an absolutely delicious dinner is being prepared.
Sunday morning, after breakfast, you’ll be picked up near the ship for an informative walk under the guidance of a guide.
Suggestion: The above-mentioned arrangement is an example of a sporty program on Terschelling. Also on the other islands several programs are possible, think about a survival trip, canoeing in the sea and the breakers, rafting, flying kites, catamaran sailing or parachuting. We’d like to inform you on the many options and different sailing trips!
